FSSAI State License Registration

STATE LICENSE

Every Food or business operator having turnover of more than 12 Lakh per annum must obtain State License with FSSAI,more precisely given below in the table.

CENTRAL LICENSE

Every food operators has to take a Central License for their Head office if they have operationsin addition to one state, EveryImporter, importing food items including food ingredients and additives for commercial use, Every Food or business operator having turnover of more than 20 crore per annum must obtain Central License with Food safety and standards authority of India.

Eligibility For Fssai State License Registration

Copy of the Pan Card of the company/Firm.

Blueprint/layout plan of the processing unit showing operation‐wise area allocation and the dimensions in meters/square meters(It is mandatoryfor manufacturing and processing units only)

Self attested copy of I.D proof and address proof i.e, Pan Card and Voters Identity Card/Aadhar Card Card/Passport/Driving license/Ration Card/Senior Citizen Card as a proof of identity of proprietor/partners /directors/trustees etc.

List of food category desired to be manufactured. (In case of manufacturers)

Authority letter of responsible person nominated by the manufacturer with name and address along with alternative responsible person indicating the powers vested with them. (For manufacturers / processors)

Premises Address Proof: Rent Agreement and sale deed utility bill i.e, electricity bill, telephone bill, etc. and No Objection Certificate from Owner of the Premises.

Deed of Partnership/Proprietorship in case of Affidavit/Memorandum & Article of Association.

In case of re-labellers and re-packers, NOC from manufacturer.
Food Safety Management System plan or certificate (if any).

Meat processing plants and Source of raw material for meat. (Wherever applicable).
